Hi! I'm Japhia, the owner of Main Street Wedding and Event Venue. My desire to open a venue came about while I was planning my own wedding. The search to find the perfect place to get married inspired me to bring something different to the Evansville area. Now I'm able to help others have the wedding or event they've been dreaming of! I love getting to know our clients and I am truly passionate about each and every event we host at Main Street.

I'm not just the owner, I also work as the client experience and event manager at Main Street. I work with our clients throughout the booking and planning process. I am a Certified Wedding Planner and a craft addict. I love that I gets to indulge my creative side through event design and make use of my Type A tendencies to plan and execute every detail! I also own Bella Terra Organic Spa and Shoppe in Evansville, Indiana. Ask me about hosting a spa party for your bridal shower or bachelorette celebration!

I live on Evansville's West side with my three younger children. My oldest son doesn't live at home anymore, he's a U.S. Marine! My teenage daughters have been described as complete opposites, although they both share a love of anime. My youngest son loves to play basketball and of course, video games.
